I have a problem which is a little bit related to this topic.
I have connected an external mic to ULTRA++ card.
Generally a MIC is working, I can record WAVes using for example the arecord app. The problem is that every time I have a one second (around) delay/break in WAV files at the beginning. I use driver from RASPIAUDIO/ultra2 repository. I have Pi 4B (8 GB RAM), Linux raspberrypi 5.15.76-v8+ .
Could you help me?

@arnauld did you end up getting a TRRS working or was it the TRS only that worked using the last step there?
Hey, I have to check out which mic I used. I haven’t used my set up for 2 years due to health problems…
I will check this evening which mic I am using and tell you.
But it was working fine two years ago 
Hi the way I’ve made it was for TRS but maybe it’s also working with TTRS. Have you tried?
I am using a TRS mic.
