Can LED be changed/turned off on Mn Cast?

Finally got my Mn Cast working. There’s a red LED that’s on, and which would keep me from using this unit in my bedroom at present. I think it only came on once I switched to SPDIF output, but not sure.

Can this LED be controlled/disabled in any way?

yes that led is from the optical data SPDIF, if you are using it it needs to be ON
Otherwise it could be tuned off.
