I got my Muse speaker a month ago. I flashed it as a squeezebox lite/airplay (using the updated link) and it has been working great. Now I’ve taken it on a few days holiday and was using it for music in the caravan. Again, it was working great. But this morning it won’t turn on. I’ve charged it all day, but nothing is happening when I turn it on. The led goes on when I plug it into a usb, but the led in top doesn’t go on when I turn the speaker on and I can’t pair with it. I do hear a faint hiss from the speaker when I turn it on. I think the cpu just needs rebooting.
Is there a way to reboot this? Some combination of buttons? I don’t have my computer with me.
Thank you. That’s really good to know for the future. However, I only have an iPhone with me. I’m not sure an iPhone has a browser that could do this? I’m heading home tomorrow, anyway, and can just reflash it the old fashioned way. It’s just a bummer that it stopped working in the last day.
it could be just in recovery mode maybe, when you scan wifi neworks maybe you see a new ssid named somethink like “Squeeze…” password squeezelite and browse to 192.168.4.1 and click on exit recovery.
I got back home and a quick reflash (and then reapplying settings) did the trick. Not sure what happened there, though? I might leave this speaker home next time and bring a dummer Bluetooth speaker on the road.
