I have a new Mic+ I am hoping to setup on a PI 3 Model B or a pi zero. I have tried to install it on both boards, with different SD cards and am still unable to produce any sounds. Currently there are no external speakers or additional hats. Here are my steps:
- Flash a SD card with 2021-01-11-raspios-buster-armhf-lite.img
- Create the appropriate wpa_supplicant.conf and ssh files
- Install hat and plug in USB power ( I hear brief static at this point)
- ssh to pi, sudo update ; sudo upgrade
-
sudo wget -O - mic.raspiaudio.com | sudo bash
agree to reboot - ‘sudo wget -O - test.raspiaudio.com | sudo bash’
- Button turns red, I press it but I dont hear anything.
Note the output:
------Please puch on the Yellow button to continue
amixer: Unable to find simple control ‘Micro’,0
amixer: Unable to find simple control ‘Master’,0
if I run speaker-test there are no sounds or errors.
alsa mixer has Master volume at 100 and micro at 16
