Is there any update or new learnings on this topic?
I am suffering from the same issue. I am using ESPhome (latest ESPhome builder with HA) but it crashes all the time and, as far as I can tell, always with the loud static that scares everyone in the house to death. Family wants me to get rid of it 
I am tracking uptime … it can run sometimes for a few days but crash again. Sometimes when it crashes it seems to come up for a few seconds and then crash again (see all the dottedm jagged lines starting beginning Oct):
I have tried multiple power adapters.
I am using the YAML from the repository and I stripped out already everything about Voice Assistant because technically I just need an announcement speaker.
Any guidance and advice would be super appreciated!
Also, is it possible to log somewhat the last lines before a crash? I cannot use serial console due to the long time in between the instances.
