Muse luxe: which media types work?

I flashed the muse luxe speaker with the esphome yaml and connected it to HA. I can stream mp3 streams, but it seems that .ogg does not work. Is it only possible to play mp3 streams?

Hello, yes I see that in Home Assistant only mp3 stream seems to work this is a limitation of with the ESP Home media player not the Luxe, a workaround is to use the Squeezelite integration in Home Assistant.

I looked into the media player source code of HA, into the media player source of ESPhome and into the source code of the I2S player, but I did not find any code for decoding audio formats like mp3 or ogg. Strange.

I tried the squeezlite firmware, but the muse-luxe-client was not able to register with the HA server. I did not see the media player in HA.
