No audio - only scratch

Hi,
I flashed my device the following website https://esphome.github.io/media-players/
I select Muse and the flashing process worked well. After connecting to my WiFi I start adding the device to Home Assistant.
All seems fine but if I try to play an audio wav file there is only a scratchy noise.
If I select the muse device in Home Assistant I got the following information:
Firmware: 2022.8.3 (Sep 7 2022, 01:29:31)
Hardware: 1.0
In the log I see the following:

Any ideas?
Maybe an other version to flash?

Kindly regards
Herb Guy

Hi! first when you received the device and turn it on, was it working? Just to put aside any hardware issue

Hi,

the device is working fine.

After a lot of testing I figured out that it only happened when the Uri to file to play is not from inside your local network.

As you can see in the log of the original post, it was send via duckdns.org.

If it’s send in your local network all works as expected.

Regards

Herb Guy

ok i understand. So I’m afraid I can’t help you with that one, you should check the HA forums.

thx
